GEOLOGICAL / CIVIL / ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER OR ENGINEERING GEOLOGIST POSITIONS

Fracflow Consultants Inc., a hydrogeological, geotechnical and environmental engineering consulting firm requires an experienced Geological/Civil/Environmental Engineer or Engineering Geologist for its St. John’s NL office, with periodic temporary assignments to the Company’s branch office in Dartmouth, NS. The successful applicants will provide support to existing and future projects in mine dewatering, potable water supply, environmental assessment, site remediation and geotechnical engineering projects. Ability and willingness to travel to local, national and international locations, including remote areas, is a requirement. Field assignments have the potential to range up to three or more weeks on a rotational basis.

• For the first position, the successful applicant will be a recent graduate who is eligible for registration as a P.Geo. or P.Eng. and will hold either a B.Sc. or B.Eng degree in either Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Engineering Geology with course work in hydrogeology and engineering geology.

• For the second position, the successful applicant will be a P.Geo. or P.Eng. with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience after earning the P.Geo. or P.Eng. designation including a combination of field, data analysis, technical report writing and project management. The successful applicant will hold either a B.Sc., B.Eng., or a MASc or a M.Eng. degree(s) in either Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Engineering Geology with course work in hydrogeology and engineering geology.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a minimum of 5 years of licensed driving experience, must be able to provide a current and acceptable Driver’s Abstract for insurance purposes, and must have or be able to obtain a Canadian passport. Candidates must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) with PEGNL and the successful candidate must become registered, and maintain their registration, with PEGNL as a condition of employment.
