Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL) is the licensing and regulatory body for more than 5,000 Professional Engineers, Geoscientists and Members-in-Training practicing in Newfoundland and Labrador.
PEGNL’s efforts reach thousands of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians through the enforcement of regulatory requirements, ensuring that only qualified persons practice in these professions, and promoting high standards of professional practice.

The Engineers and Geoscientists Regulations, 2011 specify: i) the requirements for registration and renewal for various membership categories ; ii) the structure and duties of the registration committee, and iii) the discipline process.
By-Law No. 1 – Administrative
The PEGNL Administrative By-Law sets out detailed requirements for board and member meetings, membership fees and continuing professional development reports, and establishes categories of membership in PEGNL.
