PEGNL will be holding its Annual General Meeting virtually on May 8, 2026 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm NDT. Registration details have been emailed to members. Submissions to the AGM agenda are due April 17, 2026, the form with which to note your proposed AGM agenda item and member support can be found here.
The PEGNL Board of Directors Election is open. Members have received an email from the election system provider, with instructions on how to vote. Voting is open until April 30, 2026.
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Memorial University invites applications for the Canada Impact+ Research Chairs (CIRC) competition targeting Trustworthy, Quantum-Resilient AI for Cyber-Physical Infrastructure. The CIRC program is a one-time-only initiative, funded by the Government of Canada, designed to recruit top-tier international researchers with expertise in key areas addressing critical national and global challenges. WISE NL is accepting Student applications for the 2026 Student Summer Employment Program (SSEP). SSEP is 7-week paid work opportunity open to female Grade 11 students across Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as Grade 10 students in Labrador. The ASHRAE Halifax Chapter is excited to announce their first ASHRAE Newfoundland and Labrador Section event! Energy NL's Conference & Exhibition will take place June 2 to 4, 2026, at the St. John's Convention Centre, St. John's, NL. PEGNL will be attending as an exhibitor and welcome the opportunity to continue our outreach efforts with stakeholder groups.
The Central MinEx Mineral Industry Showcase is an initiative by the Gander and Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Town of Gander. This conference and trade show event will promote exciting dialogue featuring industry thought leaders, technical experts, suppliers and the local business community to exchange ideas and ignite new opportunities in the mineral exploration and development sector. The conference program features a Trade Show, Prospectors’ Tent, Core Shack, and Networking Events.
