***NEW*** June 23, 2025 is International Women in Engineering Day, we celebrate the outstanding achievements of women engineers and highlight the need for more women in the engineering workforce. Celebrating this day not only encourages women to enter engineering fields, but it highlights the need for a diverse workforce.

"INWED Talks" is an initiative of the Women’s Engineering Society celebrating International Women in Engineering Day. A series of conversations exploring the 2025 theme of “Together We Engineer” through various lenses, to explore how we can shape a more inclusive and equitable engineering landscape, to support the industry growth and innovation goals. ***NEW*** On June 30th, learn about the Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund (AICLF). This ISANS-led initiative can help immigrants with permanent resident status or Canadian citizenship obtain training and certification in their chosen fields or related fields in their new home provinces. Register for the event here, for the one-hour webinar at 6:00pm ADT. Registration deadline is 5:00pm ADT June 27th.


Engineers Canada and Polytechnique Montréal have opened registration for an eleventh offering of their free online course, Sustainability in Practice. The open online course is offered in both English and French and uses real-life case studies from across Canada to demonstrate the practical application of Engineers Canada’s 10 principles of sustainable development and environmental stewardship for engineers. The course is completed entirely online and can be completed at each participant’s own pace. To learn more and register click here.
