PEGNL is pleased to confirm that Darlene Spracklin-Reid, P. Eng., FEC will be Engineers Canada President-Elect for the 2025-2026 term. As past Chair of PEGNL, we are excited to see her leadership in this key role within the engineering profession.

***NEW*** In celebration of Pride month in June, Engineers Canada is excited to host a webinar - Allyship in Engineering: Amplifying 2SLGBTQI+ voices and driving positive change, June 11, 2025 at 12:00pm EST. More information including registration can be found here.
***NEW*** Engineers Canada and Polytechnique Montréal have opened registration for an eleventh offering of their free online course, Sustainability in Practice. The open online course is offered in both English and French and uses real-life case studies from across Canada to demonstrate the practical application of Engineers Canada’s 10 principles of sustainable development and environmental stewardship for engineers. The course is completed entirely online and can be completed at each participant’s own pace. To learn more and register click here.
***NEW*** Two of Engineers Canada's colleagues in addition to collaborators and strategic partners will be speaking at ADVANCE: Women in Engineering 2025 on June 19 at 11:30 am ET. Register for this virtual session here. Registration is free and includes a complimentary subscription to Canadian Consulting Engineer magazine.
***NEW*** Professor Yinghui Tian from the Department of Infrastructure Engineering at the University of Melbourne, will be presenting a lunch and learn at Memorial University EN4000 on June 17, 2025 at 12:00pm - 1:00pm on Advances in Pipe–Soil Interaction and Stability Analysis for Offshore Pipelines and Cables. The presentation is an open event.
