WISE NL is accepting Student applications for the 2025 Student Summer Employment Program (SSEP). SSEP is 7-week paid work opportunity open to female Grade 11 students across Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as Grade 10 students in Labrador. Students gain STEM-related work experience, go on workplace tours and join in on fun networking and social events! To learn more click here. Applications are open until Friday, April 4, 2025.
Camp 20 invites engineers to attend the 2025 Calling of an Engineer Ceremony to be held April 25, 6:30 pm at Holy Heart Theatre, Bonaventure Ave., St. John’s. Pre-registration at https://camp20.ironring.ca/register/guests is required, and each registered guest will receive a ticket for admission. Only ticket holders will be admitted to the ceremony.

***NEW*** The Central MinEx Mineral Industry Showcase is an initiative by the Gander and Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Town of Gander. This conference and trade show event will promote exciting dialogue featuring industry thought leaders, technical experts, suppliers and the local business community to exchange ideas and ignite new opportunities in the mineral exploration and development sector. The conference program features a Trade Show, Prospectors’ Tent, Core Shack, and Networking Events.
The conference and trade show is scheduled May 13-15, 2025 at Steele Community Centre 155 Airport Boulevard Gander, NL.
