***NEW*** PEGNL is looking for experienced professionals to help review the experience of those applying for licensure by serving as Volunteer Assessors in the Competency Based Assessment (CBA) framework. While all areas of expertise are welcome, we are looking for additional assessors with experience in the following areas: mechanical engineering, process engineering, computer engineering, geology, and geophysics. If you have been licensed for at least 5 years and are interested in learning more about becoming an assessor, please apply on our website.


PEGNL has been advised that a company calling themselves Glassy Engineering is claiming to be operating out of the Confederation Building Daycare Center in St. John’s and using the website https://glassyengineering.ca. This company is not registered with PEGNL and could potentially be attempting to use job applications as a means of accessing personal information from members. It is recommended that members use caution and make proper enquires before exchanging information with this or any other company.

***NEW*** Registration is open for the third Adaptation Canada conference which will be held in Toronto September 22 to 24, 2025, which will bring together over 1,000 participants from diverse Canadian sectors and communities to exchange ideas, share solutions, and drive Canada’s climate resilience efforts. Adaptation Canada 2026 is delivered by ICLEI Canada with support from a network of partners, including CLIMAtlantic, and is funded in part by the Government of Canada. ***NEW*** Registration is open for the Climate Adaptation & Resilience Training (CART) Program, a foundational comprehensive 12-week training program coordinated by CLIMAtlantic for people new to climate adaptation and working with municipalities or Indigenous communities in Atlantic Canada. ***NEW*** The 2025 International Regulators’ Forum Offshore Safety Conference - Offshore Safety Through Innovation, will take place October 9th and 10th at the St. John's Convention Centre. This engaging program will showcase approaches from around the world to enhance Offshore Safety Through Innovation.
