Leadership Opportunity: Engineers Canada announces search for a new Vice President of Regulatory Affairs. Engineers Canada is actively seeking a dynamic individual to join the team in the Ottawa office, contributing to the advancement of the consistent high standards in the regulation of engineering. Call for volunteers. If you are an engineer, engineer-in-training, or engineering student, your engineering experience would be extremely valuable to Future City Experience participants. Future City volunteers serve as mentors to the participants, sharing their engineering experience, answering questions, and providing advice as students work through the engineering design process to research, plan, and build their future city. WISE NL is now accepting applications for Supervisors for the Summer Student Employment Program (SSEP). Supervisors have the opportunity to hire female high school students who are interested in pursuing careers in science, engineering, mathematics, medicine, or technology at no financial cost! PEGNL is looking for experienced professionals to help review the experience of those applying for licensure by serving as Volunteer Assessors in the Competency Based Assessment (CBA) framework. While all areas of expertise are welcome, we are looking for additional assessors with experience in the following areas: mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, computer engineering, geology, and geophysics.
If you have been licensed for at least 5 years and are interested in learning more about becoming an assessor, please apply on our website.

Climate Risk Institute is offering multiple courses as part of the Infrastructure Resilience Professional Credentialling program, which is designed to equip infrastructure professionals with the necessary knowledge and tools to assess and manage future climate impacts.

The 2024 Atlantic Engineering Hockey Tournament (AEHT) will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia on April 12th-13th, 2024. The annual hockey tournament has been held at various locations throughout the Atlantic Provinces over the past 30 years. For further information please visit aeht2024.ca. Deadline for team registration is March 22, 2024, first sixteen teams to register are eligible to play.


Women of STAC Bursary Fund, 2024 Application Period now open.

Awarded each year to select women, the Bursary Fund, provides financial support to enable the pursuit of training, professional development, and/or academic programs for women in the telecommunications field. Deadline to apply is February 26, 2024.
