***NEW*** This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Camp 20's inaugural Iron Ring Ceremony. The ceremony this year is planned for April 24th at the Anthony Paddon Building, Canadian Forces Station St. John's. A special invite is sent to the Class of 1974 to be guests for this year's ceremony. ***NEW*** Mari-Tech 2024 Conference & Exhibition is scheduled for May 14-16, 2024 at the St. John’s Convention Centre. This year’s theme is Navigating Sustainable Marine Transportation. Held annually, Mari-Tech is hosted in turn by each of CIMarE’s seven branches; Mari-Tech 2024 is a collaboration between the CIMarE Newfoundland & Labrador Branch and the SNAME Canadian Atlantic section and will take place in St. John’s, NL. Climate Risk Institute offers training and professional development courses that will be of interest for engineers involved in the planning, procurement, design, operation, maintenance, management or regulation of infrastructure and who need to consider climate risk, resilience and the changing climate in carrying out these activities.
