Each year, Engineers Canada recognizes engineers and engineering students for their exceptional work in the engineering community through their awards program. The various categories highlight important contributions in engineering, engineering education, community involvement, the advancement of women in engineering and significant accomplishments in engineering. ***NEW*** Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador will be hosting the Canadian Engineering Leadership Conference (CELC), January 1st – 7th, 2024 in St. John’s, NL. This is the largest annual, student-run event in Canada. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in multiple streams of themed programming each day, including the Engineering Society Stream, Leadership Stream, and Equitable Engineering Stream. Through Geoscientists Canada, PEGNL has acquired a professional development opportunity which
allows all our members FREE access to Geologize’s critically acclaimed course ‘Practical Geocommunication.’ The 10-hr Practical Geocommunication course provides valuable communication tips and strategies for members of both professions.
